Ms. Mary J. Henry, 76, of Metropolis, IL, passed away at 1:30 a.m. on Tuesday, April 16, 2013 at the Metropolis Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.Funeral services will be held at 12:00 pm on Friday, April 19, 2013 at Cherry Street Pentecostal Church in Metropolis. Rev. Russell Gilbert will officiate.Mary worked at and retired from Metropolis Nursing and Rehabilitation. She also worked at the Massac Memorial Hospital and was a volunteer with Dorcas Quilters at the Lutheran Church of the Cross. Mary was loved by many and will be greatly missed by her family and friends.Mary is survived by her daughters, Patty Ashby and husband Doug, Carla Shreves and husband Todd, Connie Logeman and husband Roger all of Metropolis; 7 grandchildren, Shawn Ashby, Melissa Fowler, Amy Anderson, Andrew Shreves, Timothy Logeman, Kristy Burnham, Christopher Logeman; 8 great-grandchildren, Kelsey and Dakota Fowler, Charlotte, Nathan, and Jayden Anderson, McKinsey Logeman, David and Emily Burnham; one sister Ella Mae Smith; several nieces and nephews.
