Mr. Marty Jacobs, age 56, of Brookport, IL, passed away Monday, September 29, 2014 at his home.Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, October 3, 2014 at the Brookport Funeral Home with Rev. Doug Hughes officiating. Burial will follow in the Mt. Sterling Church Cemetery.Mr. Jacobs was a member of the Bay City Masonic Lodge Post 771 and Robert E. Lee Sword of Bunker Hill.Marty is survived by his children, Mickey Jacobs and wife Lynsie of Unionville, Mindy Jacobs of Unionville, and Marty Ron Jacobs and wife Brooke of Grand Chain; 4 grandchildren, Hannah Jacobs, Eli Jacobs, Gracie Jacobs, and Stevie Jeffords; sister, Linda Miltenberger and husband Roy of South Bend, IN; 3 brothers, Bob Jacobs, Terry Jacobs and wife Rhoda, and Jerry Jacobs all of Unionville; companion, Yvonne Lester; and several nieces and nephews.He was preceded in death by his parents, Joe and Iralene (Giltner) Jacobs; and 2 brothers, Ronnie and Denny Jacobs.Visitation will be held Thursday, October 2, 2014 from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at the Brookport Funeral Home with Masonic Rites held at 7:00 p.m.Online Condolences may be left at www.aikinsfarmer-millerfh.com.Pallbearers: Mickey Jacobs, Marty Jacobs, Mike Anderson, Andy Stamme, Robert Hall, Daniel Rucker
