Obituary

Marsha Harper Crannick, age 71 years, a resident of New Columbia and a former resident of St. Louis, MO, passed away Wednesday morning, April 24, 2019 at 9:56 am at her residence.

Marsha was born March 13, 1948 in Sullivan, IL. She was the daughter of the late Ernest "Buster" Harper and the late Mabel Farmer Harper and a graduate of Sullivan High School in Sullivan, IL.

Marsha is survived by her husband William Crannick of New Columbia; a daughter, Melissa McGhee and husband Michael of Johnston, IA; a son, Michael Marietta of St. Louis, MO; grandchildren, Mackenzie, Madison, Marik, Josh and Mikey; sisters, Candy Gidcumb and husband Lance of North Carolina, Leisa Soer and husband Joe of Grafton, IL and Cheryl Anderson and husband John of Victoria, TX; brother, Kerry Harper of Florida; and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.

Marsha was preceded in death by her father, mother, and sister, Janice Harper Hanna.

Visitation will be held Sunday April 28, 2019 from 1 pm until 2 pm at the New Hope Baptist Church. A funeral service will begin at 2 pm with Bro. Frank Forthman, Jr. officiating and burial will follow in the church cemetery.
