Marion "Bulldog" HendersonMr. Marion O. "Bulldog" Henderson, age 96, of Metropolis, IL, passed away on Wednesday, September 25, 2013 at Massac Memorial Hospital.Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, September 28, 2013 at the New Hope Baptist Church Cemetery in Joppa, IL. Pastor David Wright will officiate. Burial will follow.Marion was a WWII Army Veteran.Marion is survived by one son, Michael Henderson and wife Mary of Joppa, IL; one granddaughter, DeLane Hooks of Brookport, IL; 2 great-grandsons, Michael Hooks and Dennis Hooks; one brother, Roy Henderson of Riverside, CA.He was preceded in death by his parents, Daisy and Frank Henderson; wife, Izora Henderson, and 4 brothers, Hammon, Paul, Elza, and Clarence Henderson.Visitation will be held on Saturday, September 28 from 9:00 to 10:30 am at the Aikins Farmer Funeral Home in Metropolis.Pall Bearersa
