Mrs. Marilyn Burns, age 85, of Metropolis, IL, died Monday, January 29, 2018 at Southgate Health Care Center. Per Marilyn's wishes, there will be no services. Marilyn is survived by four children, Kelly Jenkins and husband Joe of Brookport, IL, Debra Jeske and husband Michael of Chicago, IL, Belinda Jalilpour of Seattle, WA, and Steve Burns and wife Voula of Kenosha, WI; daughter-in-law, Colleen Burns; nine grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Hershel and Verna (Hodge) Pansing; husband, Henry Burns; son, Robert Burns; two sisters, Doris Peliwo and Maxine Wehrmeyer. Arrangements have been entrusted to Aikins-Farmer-Loftus-McManus Funeral Home in Metropolis.
