Maisie Cochran Smith, 94, of Metropolis, IL, passed away on Monday, December 9, 2019 at Southgate Health Care Center.

Funeral services will be held at 1 pm on Friday, December 13, 2019 at the First United Methodist Church with Rev. Jon Cockrel officiating. Burial will follow in Metropolis Memorial Gardens.

Mrs. Smith worked for the Good Luck Glove Factory and was a member of First United Methodist Church in Metropolis.

Maisie is survived by her daughter, Maureen Walter; son, Steve Cochran; one grandson, Dustin Walter; two great grandchildren, Kristen Walter and Clayton Walter; two sisters-in-law, Ann Drew and husband Charles and Mary Morley; several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her first and second husband, Leo Cochran and Carl H. Smith; her parents, Joseph and Florence Morley; one son, Michael Joseph Cochran; one brother, Stanley Morley; one grandson, Chris Walter.

Visitation will be held Thursday evening, December 12, 2019 at Aikins-Farmer-Loftus-McManus Funeral Home from 6 to 8 pm.
