Lucy Adams, age 88 of Metropolis, Illinois passed away at 4:06 am on Tuesday, November 29, 2022 at the Metropolis Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center. Lucia Rutzka De Adams was born on May 9, 1934 in Mexico City, Mexico, the daughter of Herman and Lolita De Pauza Rutzka.

A Celebration of Life visitation will be held on Sunday, December 4, 2022 from 2 pm to 4 pm at the Aikins-Farmer-Loftus-McManus Funeral Home.

Lucy was a member of St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church.

Lucy is survived by her adoptive family, Dale, Lorrinda, Jacob, and Josh Guetersloh.

Lucy was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Bill Adams; two brothers, German and Luisito Rutzka.
