Lucille Johnston, 94 of Metropolis, IL, passed away on Friday, July 21, 2023 at Southgate Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.

Graveside services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, July 25, 2023 at the Metropolis Memorial Gardens with Rev. Russell Gilbert officiating. There will be no visitation. Family and friends are asked to meet at the cemetery.

Lucille was a member of Cherry Street Pentecostal Church in Metropolis.

Lucille is survived by her daughter, Linda Miller; grandson, Stephen Miller and wife Tasha; great grandchildren, Makayla Warran and husband David and Daniel Miller; brother, James Henry Anderson and wife Sue; several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her son, Harry Lee English; parents, Harry and Letha Schmidt and Henry Anderson; son-in-law, Perry Steve Miller.
