Louise E. Reid, age 72 of Metropolis, Illinois formerly of Chicago, Illinois passed away on Sunday, April 16, 2017 at Baptist Health Paducah. Funeral services will be held at 10 am on Thursday, April 20, 2017 at the Miller Funeral Home in Metropolis. Father Michael Christopher Mujule will officiate. Burial will follow in the IOOF Cemetery. Louise was a member of St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church in Metropolis. Louise is survived by 1 daughter, Jacqueline Hodge and husband Randy of Metropolis, IL; 2 sons, Jimmy Reid and wife Shannon of Plainfield, IL and John Reid and wife Becky of Glenrock, WY; 12 grandchildren and 2 great grandsons. Louise was preceded in death by her parents, Jeremiah Joseph & Evelyn Louise (Cyr) Ganey; 2 sons, Jeremiah J. Smith and Patrick S. Reid. Visitation will be held on Wednesday evening, April 19, 2017 from 6 to 8 pm at the Miller Funeral Home in Metropolis.
