Louis A. Pearcy, 57, of Metropolis, IL, formerly of Brookport, IL, passed away on Sunday, January 31, 2021 at his residence.

There will be no services at this time. A memorial service will be announced at a later date. The family asks at this time to share any photographs, memories or stories with them on his tribute page of the funeral home obituary website.

Louis was recently retired after 25 years as an engineer for Maritime Industries. He was a DIY specialist; loving to tinker and fix anything he could get his hands on.  Louis also loved fishing, camping and enjoying the outdoors.

Louis is survived by his companion and friend of 16 years, Diane M. Davis; one brother, Carl E. Pearcy; half-sister, Donna Land; several cousins.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Edward and Patricia Pearcy; one brother, Edward Pearcy Jr.
