Mr. Louis Lott, age 60, of Metropolis, IL, passed away Thursday, July 24, 2014 at his home surrounded by his loving family.Graveside services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, July 31, 2014 in the I.O.O.F. Cemetery with Bobby Lang officiating. There will be no visitation. Family and friends are asked to meet at the cemetery.Louis is survived by 3 brothers, Danny (Skip) Brown of Massachusetts, Allen Leroy Brown and wife Jean of Joppa, and Larry Lott of Brookport; 5 sisters, Phyllis Lott Davis of Metropolis, Mary Lott Lang and husband Bill of Metropolis, Robin Ashford and husband Larry of Kentucky, Mable Harris and husband Jeff of Metropolis, and Ruth Ellis of Hamletsburg; 1 daughter, Buffy Lee and friend Dave Henderson of Tunnel Hill; 2 granddaughters, Brittany Littlemeyer and husband James and Summer Lee all of Joppa; 2 great granddaughters, Jaden and Zoe Littlemeyer; 17 nieces and nephews; and several great nieces and nephews.He is preceded in death by his parents, Reuben and Betty Waters Lott and 1 brother, Rodger Lott.Aikins-Farmer Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.Online condolences may be left at www.aikinsfarmer-millerfh.com.
