Mrs. Lois Schnaare, age 90, of Brookport, IL, passed away on Friday, January 23, 2015 at her residence.Graveside services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, January 25, 2015, in the Lutheran Chapel Cemetery in Johnson County, IL, with Rev. David Siere officiating. Lois is survived by 1 son, Charles Schnaare and wife Sharon of Brookport; 3 daughters, Shelby Thompson, Vicky Conder and husband Ernie, and Judy Wetherington and husband Robert all of Brookport; several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren; 1 sister Jenny Kerley of Metropolis; several nieces and nephews.She was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph and Bertie (Harmon) Spurlock; husband Charles Cleo Schnaare; 2 daughters, Janice Schnaare and Jacqueline Schnaare; 1 son, Terry Schnaare; 1 great-granddaughter, Tori Buchanan; 2 sisters, Loraine Hefner and Maudie Smith; and 3 brothers, Barney Spurlock, Bob Spurlock, and Paul Spurlock.
