Linn Alan Waynick, age 72 of Brookport, Illinois passed away peacefully on Friday, September 25, 2026 at his residence.

Funeral services will be held at 11 am on Monday September 28, 2026 at Loftus-McManus Brookport Funeral Home with Pastor Jeff Bremer officiating. Burial will follow in Pell Cemetery.

Linn was retired from the Union Mill Wright and was of Christian faith and a very giving person who loved to hand out blessings and is loved by many. He enjoyed being outside gardening and bird watching. He was always tinkering and even secured a patent for the Interloc Wrench, he loved cars especially the sprint ones. He will be greatly missed.

Linn is survived by his daughters, Janice Lynn Miller, Amy Diane (Waynick) Ellis and Rachel Dee McClellan and husband Eric; grandchildren, Nicholas Reid Miller and partner Noah, Bode Andrew Miller, Mikayla Diane Cross and husband Alex, Lily Beth Gordon, Lillie Yoshua and husband Nathan, Arissa McClellan and fiancée Daltton and Bella McClellan; great grandchildren, Evalina Cross, Lana Cross, Ivy Cross, Nellie Mae Morris; brother, John Dennis Waynick; several nieces and nephews.

Linn was preceded in death by his parents, John Albert and Edith (Lauer) Waynick; wife of 32 years, Patty Lee (Brinker) Waynick; infant grandson, William Patrick Waynick Miller Jr.; sisters, Donna Rae (Waynick) Green and Lois Koerner.

Visitation will be held on Monday, September 28, 2026 from 9:30 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at Loftus-McManus Brookport Funeral Home.
