Linda J. "Lynn" Cremeens, age 82 of Johnston City, Illinois passed away at 10:44 pm on Monday, March 2, 2026 at Deaconess Illinois Union County Hospital with her family by her side.

Funeral services will be held at 2 pm on Sunday, March 8, 2026 at Aikins-Farmer-Loftus-McManus Funeral Home with Charlie Kilpatrick officiating. Burial will follow at IOOF Cemetery.

Linda was retired from Dyno Nobel, of the Baptist faith, enjoyed shopping and flower gardening. After retirement, her greatest joy was her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Linda is survived by her children, Karen Spiller (Rick), Vince Cruse (Cheryl), Victor Cruse (Tiffany), Mark Cruse, and Paul Cremeens; grandchildren, Raven, Courtney, Tyler, Kelsey, Stephanie, Ezekiel, Addison, Ford; many beloved great grandchildren and one great-great grandchild; several nieces and nephews.

Linda was preceded in death by her parents, James and Juanita Huckleberry; sister, JoAnn Skees; daughter-in-law, Trisha Cruse.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, March 8, 2026 from 12 noon to 2 pm at Aikins-Farmer-Loftus-McManus Funeral Home.

Memorials may be made in Linda's name to Alzheimer's Association, Great Illinois Chapter, 320 E. Walnut, Ste. A, Carbondale, IL 62901.

Pallbearers will be Raven Carter, Rick Spiller, Tyler Short, Matthew Harris, Greg Olkoski, Sylas Cruse, and Ezekiel Crim.
