Ms. Linda (Olroyd) Dove, age 67, of Metropolis, IL, passed away on Tuesday, June 10, 2014 at her residence.Graveside services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, June 13, 2014 in the I.O.O.F. Cemetery with Sister Brenda Rust and Bro. Shane Baker officiating. Linda was a member of the Metropolis Am Vets, a member of Living Waters Church in Joppa, IL, and attended the Family Worship Center in Metropolis.Linda is survived by her 5 children, Ivan Derry of Metropolis, Jerry (Derry) Collie and husband Brian and Carl Derry, both of Brookport, Sharon (Derry) Smith and husband John of Metropolis, and Ray Dove and wife Kim of Jacksonville, FL; 11 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; 6 siblings, Evelyn Dawson of Virginia, IL, Edith Fischer and husband Don of Lyndon, IL, Chelsey Olroyd and wife Evelyn of Erie, IL, Darrell Olroyd and wife Vickie of Metropolis, Roger Olroyd and wife Joy of Beardstown, IL, and Steve Olroyd and wife Barbara of Metropolis and several nieces and nephews.She was preceded in death by her parents, June and Clifford Olroyd; husband, Ray Dove; and 6 siblings.Visitation will be held from 10 a.m. until 12:30 p.m. on Friday, June 13, at the New Beginnings Family Worship Center Church at 714 Filmore St. Metropolis.Expressions of sympathy may be made in Linda's memory to New Beginnings Family Worship Center Church 714 Filmore St. Metropolis, IL 62960 or Living Waters Full Gospel Church c/o Shane Baker 451 E. 2nd Street Grand Chain, IL 62941.Online condolences may be left at www.aikinsfarmer-millerfh.com.
