Ms. Leah Marie Dummitt, age 29, of Joppa, IL, passed away on Friday, July 12, 2013 at the Massac Memorial Hospital in Metropolis.A memorial service will be held from 4:00-6:00 p.m. on Saturday, July 27, 2013, at JT's Burgers and More at 825 Joppa North Ave in Joppa, IL. Leah is survived by her father, Bill Dummitt Sr. of Joppa, IL; her fiancé, Brandon Kiphart of Joppa, IL; sisters, Dandi (Matt) Burgess of Metropolis, Amy Brown of Florence, AL, and Kristi Escue of Covington, TN; nieces and nephews, Courtney Renee Burgess of Metropolis, Dylan Nathaniel Dummitt, Harley Brown, Reno Brown, and Chelsie Brown.She was preceded in death by her mother, Victoria Dummitt Pumphry; brother, Billy Dummitt Jr.Aikins Farmer Funeral Home in Metropolis is in charge of arrangements.
