Obituary
LaVerne D. Kruger, 76, of Metropolis, IL son of Albert and Mata Kruger, died Wednesday, November 4, 2015 at the Lourdes Hospice Center in Paducah, KY. He was born April 5, 1939, in Massac Co., IL. He retired after 36 years of service from Allied Signal.Survivors include his wife of 52 years, Betty Bremer Kruger; 1 son, Ken Kruger and companion DeAnn Jackson; 3 granddaughters, Kayla, Jessica, and Amber Kruger; 1 grandson, Kenneth Cole Kruger; 1 great granddaughter, Theresa Rene' Kruger.There will not be any visitation. A private family funeral service will be held at the Metropolis Memorial Gardens.Miller Funeral Home in Metropolis is in charge of arrangements.Online condolences may be left at www.aikinsfarmer-millerfh.com
