Larry Dale Meyer, 62 of Metropolis, IL, passed away on Wednesday, May 4, 2022 at the Ray and Kay Eckstein Hospice Care Center in Paducah, KY.

A celebration of life will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, May 12, 2022 at the Fort Massac State Park 1912 Pavillion.

Larry was retired as a janitor from Massac County High School. He loved to fish and hunt and most recently, he enjoyed woodworking.

Larry is survived by his son, Anthony Gonzalez; sisters, Paulette Yeatts, Stelza Bowman and Becky Randalls; several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Paul and Bernice Meyer; sister, Linda Kaye Meyer; and step parents, Stelsa and Halbert Childers.
