Krysten Naycole Parr Walquist, age 22, of Golconda,IL, passed away on Friday, December 5, 2014, due to a motor vehicle accident.Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, December 10, 2014, at the Aikins-Farmer Funeral Home with Bro. Kevin Richardson officiating. Burial will follow in Temple Hill Cemetery.Krysten attended Temple Hill Church and was an invoice specialist at MARS Medical Billing Service.Krysten is survived by her mother, Shannon Markus and husband Keith of Golconda, IL, father, Matthew Walquist of Belknap, IL; grandparents, Jerry and Carol Parr of Temple Hill, IL, and Howard and Carolyn Walquist of Temple Hill, IL; great-grandfather, Crait Parr of Temple Hill, IL; 2 brothers, Austin Walquist and Logan Markus both of Temple Hill, IL; 1 sister, Gracie Markus of Temple Hill, IL; step-sister, Sarah Markus and step-brother, Benjamin Markus both of Metropolis; several aunts and uncles.She was preceded in death by her maternal great-grandparents, Mary Parr, and Clarence and Nellie Jones; paternal great-grandparents, Helen and R.G. Westerfield and Ted and Faye Walquist; and uncle, Kevin Parr.Visitation will be held from 5-8 p.m. on Tuesday, December 9, 2014 at the Aikins-Farmer Funeral Home.
