Kimberly Lee Brown, age 48 of Metropolis, IL passed away at 11:58 p.m. on Saturday, December 20, 2014 at her residence.Funeral services will be held at 11 am on Wednesday, December 24, 2014 at the Metropolis First Baptist Church. Rev. Shane Baker will officiate. Burial will follow in the IOOF Cemetery.Kimberly was the manager of the Metropolis Sonic for 14 years, a member of the Living Waters Pentecostal Church, and an Alderwoman for the City of Metropolis representing Ward 1.Kimberly is survived by her husband of 32 years, Johnny Brown of Metropolis; 2 sons, Bryan Brown and wife Janice of Joppa and Joshua Brown and wife Kendra of Metropolis; 6 grandchildren, Brentyn Brown, Keaton Brown, Kayliegh Brown all of Joppa, Nathaniel Kiebler, Perry Hagene, and Peyton Brown all of Metropolis; 1 sister, Connie VanMeter of Metropolis; 2 brothers, Dwayne Corzine and wife Kandi of OK and Richard Corzine Jr. and wife Cricket of Metropolis; several nieces and nephews.Kimberly was preceded in death by her parents, Richard and Peggy (Brown) Corzine and 1 grandson, Hunter Trace Brown.Visitation will be held on Tuesday evening December 23, 2014 from 5 to 8 pm at the Aikins-Farmer Funeral Home in Metropolis and on Wednesday from 9 am until the funeral hour at the Metropolis First Baptist Church.Online condolences may be left at www.aikinsfarmer-millerfh.com
