Kenneth Wayne Phillips, age 85, of Brookport, Illinois passed away at 10:29 am on Friday July 7, 2017 at Baptist Health in Paducah. Funeral services will be held at 12:00 noon on Monday, July 10, 2017 at the Brookport Funeral Home. Bro. Scott Darnell will officiate. Burial will follow in the Pell Cemetery. Kenneth was born on February 15, 1932 in Massac County, Illinois the son of Lacy and Marie (Douglas) Phillips. Kenneth is survived by his wife Elizabeth Brannum Phillips, Four sons; Darrell Phillips and wife Beverly, Jerrell Phillips, Bruce Phillips and wife Yvette, Brandon Phillips and wife Gwen; grandchildren, Jennifer Bremer and husband Darren, Justin Phillips and wife Chelsea, Brady Phillips, Brennan Phillips, Courtney Cantrell, Drew Mullinax, Piper Mullinax, Riley Mullinax; great grandchildren, Lane Bremer, Ellie Bremer, Harper Phillips; sisters, Shirley Vaughn, Barbara Bates and husband George; several nieces and nephews. Kenneth was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Robert Phillips. Visitation will be held on Monday, July 10, 2017 from 10 am to 12 noon at the Brookport Funeral Home. Pallbearers will be Justin Phillips, Darren Bremer, Doug Harris, Don Harris, Chad Harris, and Eric Williamson. Arrangements have be entrusted to the Aikins-Farmer Brookport Funeral Home.
