Mr. Kenneth "Casey" Jacobs, 60, of Metropolis, IL, passed away on Monday, July 22, 2013 at Baptist Health of Paducah.There will be no funeral services. Mr. Jacobs was born on May 3, 1953 in Camp Pendleton, CA. He attended Germantown Grade School and Metamora High School, graduating in 1972. Casey was the owner/operator of Trail's Inn Lounge for 37 years and loved hunting, fishing, pool and shooting the breeze.Casey is survived by his wife of 39 years, Rita; 2 daughters, Connie Jacobs and Emily Jacobs; father Bill Jacobs and step-mother, Mary; sister, Tammy Echten and husband Frank; brother, Mike Jacobs and wife Kelly; mother-in-law, Ingeborg Beckemeyer; brother and sister-in-law, Gary and Sherry Beckemeyer; several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.He was preceded in death by his mother, Doris Jacobs.Friends may call to the Aikins Farmer Funeral Home on Thursday evening, July 25, 2013, from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m.
