Kellie Lorraine Sims age 51 of Metropolis, Illinois passed away on Wednesday, September 30, 2026.

Kellie worked in customer service; She and Thomas had been together 11 years married 8 and just shy of their 9th anniversary. She loved being outside especially when playing Pokémon Go. She was always helping others and never met a stranger. She loved spending time with family especially with her grandchildren. She will be greatly missed.

Kellie is survived by her husband of 8 years, Thomas Sims; daughters, Kimberly Nichole Ann Derry (Raymond) and Kendra Mckenzie Rene Howett (Sean Taylor); son, James Dalton Eugene Bradley; grandchildren, Maelyn Taber, Kingston Brown, Kingsley Brown, Lydia Bradley, Cairo Taylor and Colton Derry; sister, Maggie Rzechula; stepsister, Wendy Yates; brother, Michael Howett; stepbrother, Robert Haynes; nieces, Maya Alice Koelsch, Maclovia Mae Howett, Evelyna Willow Howett, Jacqueline Rzechula and Casimir Rzechula; mother, Judith Anne Cunningham (Howett).

Kellie was preceded in death by her father, Paul Whited; son, Truman Franklin Latham III.
