Keith V. Norwood age 56 of Metropolis, IL passed away with his family by his side, on June 30, 2014 at the Baptist Health Center in Paducah, KY. He was born Nov. 10, 1957 to Bobby Glenn and Zelma Inez (Trimble) Norwood. He married his High School sweetheart, Betty Sweitzer on June 3, 1977.Keith was a member of Broadway Church of Christ in Paducah, Kentucky.Funeral services will be Thursday, July 3, 2014 at the Aikins-Farmer Funeral Home at 1 p.m. with Dan Owen officiating.Keith is survived by his Wife of 37 years, Betty; His mother Inez Norwood; One son and daughter in law, Bobby Norwood and wife Erica; Two grandchildren, Peyton and Kabrina Norwood all of Metropolis, IL; One Brother, Kenny Norwood and wife Glenda of Marshall Co., KY. Special friend, Abby and special aunt, Shirley Trimble and special niece Mindy Kendrick of Springfield, MO. Also several nieces and nephews.He was preceded in death by his father, Bobby Glenn Norwood, Maternal grandparents, Hughie and Elsie Trimble, Paternal grandparents, Henry and Reba Norwood.
