Judith (Thomas) McClure, age 87 of Metropolis, Illinois passed away at 10:00 am on Sunday, September 7, 2025 at her residence surrounded by her family.

Graveside services will be held at 11 am on Tuesday, September 9, 2025 at Liberty Ridge Cemetery with Bro. Justin Wolfe officiating.

Judith was a member of the World Wide Church of God.

Judith is survived by her children, Linda Bailey, Lorraine McClure Hawkins (Ronald), and David McClure (Terri); grandchildren, Thomas Elliot Bailey (Brandi), Amber Bailey Anderson, Ryan Hawkins (Genise), Samantha Hawkins Black (Jason), Chelsea Hawkins (Emily), Tyler McClure, Andi Ahne, Amanda Lang (David), Kimberly Lumbley (Jonathan), and Chance Kendall (Dakota); 18 great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.

Judith was preceded in death by her parents, Theodore Frank and Minalo Mae (Gill) Thomas; husband, Dearl Clinton McClure; son, Dennis McClure; sister, Margaret Wyatt; brothers, Galen Thomas and Howard Thomas.
