Joy (Taylor) Dean, 57 of Brookport, IL, passed away on Thursday, May 18, 2023 at her home with her loving family by her side.

Funeral services will be held at 8:00 p.m. on Monday, May 22, 2023 at the Loftus-McManus Brookport Funeral Home with Bro. Joe Vance officiating.

Joy was a member of Mt. Sterling Cumberland Presbyterian Church and enjoyed attending the JLB Jamboree whenever she could. The most important thing in her life though, was her family. She loved being a wife, mother, grandmother and aunt and is going to be greatly missed by all.

Joy is survived by her mother, Shirley Taylor; husband of almost 40 years, Billy Dean; sons, Jake Dean and wife Lynsey and Jack Dean; grandchildren, Lilly Ann Dean, Raelyn Rose Dean, Lincoln Cash Dean, and one on the way, Maverick Silas Dean; siblings, Jeff Taylor (Lori), Teresa Landers (Larry) and Tim Taylor (Suzie); many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her father, Jack Taylor.

Visitation will be held from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Monday May, 22nd at the Loftus-McManus Brookport Funeral Home.
