Jo Ann Skees, age 76, of Metropolis, IL, passed away at 7:56 am on Tuesday, January 8, 2019 at her residence.

Funeral services will be held at 11 am on Friday, January 11, 2019 at the Loftus-McManus Brookport Funeral Home with Charles Kilpatrick officiating. Burial will follow in Pell Cemetery.

Jo Ann worked at Walmart for several years and was a member of Mt. Pleasant Church of Christ.

Jo Ann is survived by the love of her life, Larry Metcalf of Metropolis; three daughters, Sherri Troutt of Metropolis, Terri Underwood and husband George of Brookport, and Tammy Troutt of Louisville, KY; two sons, Jeff "Bones" Fults and wife Victoria of Metropolis and Johnny Fults of Lone Oak, KY; 14 grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren; one sister, Lynn Cremeens of Johnston City, IL; several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, James and Juanita (Singleton) Huckleberry; one grandson, Kyle Russell.

Visitation will be held Thursday evening, January 10, 2019 at the Loftus-McManus Brookport Funeral Home from 6 to 8 pm.
