Mr. Jimmie R. Bear, age 77 of Vienna, Illinois passed away at home on Tuesday, November 30, 2021.

Jim will be lovingly remembered as a caring and hardworking man. In his later years, he settled back in southern Illinois, just down the road from where he was born. He found enjoyment in the outdoors, playing with his big boy toys (tractors), and having his dogs by his side. Jim's shared so much of himself through his love of storytelling and his witty sense of humor; bringing smiles and laughter to all and turning any foe into an immediate friend for life.

Jim is survived by his daughters, Lori (James) McGuire of Hoffman Estates and Barbara (Andrew Loska) Bear of Elgin; son, Jimmie (Amy Beyer) Bear Jr. of Stockton; grandchildren, James, John, Krystal, Shaun, Ethan, Natalie, Peyton, and Jaxon; great grandchildren, Dimitri, Namine, Dylan, Xavier, Parker, and Jayson; brother, Kenneth Riley Bear; niece and nephew, Masha Barkyoumb and Michael Bear.

Jim was preceded in death by his parents, James Riley Bear and Arreba (Dailey) Anderson; the mother of his children, Julia Elizabeth (Scace) Bear; son, Alex Edward Bear; brother, Jerry Wayne Bear.

There will be a private family gathering held in the spring.
