Jessica Diane Konemann, age 42 of Brentwood, TN and formerly of Metropolis, IL passed away November 1, 2022 with her family by her side.

She was born in Paducah, KY to her parents Monte and Diane Bremer. In addition to her parents she is survived by her husband of 19 years, Travis Konemann; children Brady Konemann, Halle Konemann, Hunter Konemann; brothers, Matthew (Vicki) Bremer and Darren (Jennifer) Bremer; several nieces and nephews.

Jessie played softball and basketball throughout her youth in Massac County.  She attended Shawnee Community College where she played softball as a pitcher and first baseman.  Jessie then graduated Magna Cum Laude from Murray State University, majoring in Elementary Education.  She then moved to Nashville where she became a teacher for multiple elementary schools.

A funeral service was held at 2:00PM Friday, November 4, 2022 at Clearview Baptist Church in Franklin, Tennessee with visitation one hour prior to the service.

Funeral services in Metropolis were held at 3:00PM on Sunday November 6, 2022 at Zion Evangelical Church with Pastor Jim Duncan and Pastor David Krueger officiating. A visitation with the family was held from 1:30PM until 3:00PM at the church.  Burial followed in the Zion Evangelical Church Cemetery.

Pallbearers were Matthew Bremer, Darren Bremer, Dan Smola, Landon Bremer, Chris Scott, Jay Dowd, and Jason Hillebrand.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks for donations to be given in Jessica's name to the American Heart Association.
