Jerry Sullivan, 81 of Golconda, IL, went to be with his Lord and Savior on Saturday, August 16, 2025 at Deaconess Gateway Hospital in Evansville, IN.

Funeral services will be held at 12 noon on Friday, August 22, 2025 at Macedonia Baptist Church in Metropolis with Bro. Justin Wolfe officiating. Burial will follow in Liberty Ridge Cemetery.

Jerry was a hard worker as a mechanic and all things in life. He was a kind and compassionate man always helping someone in need, often times ahead of himself. Jerry read his Bible every day and could quote much of it from memory. He enjoyed singing hymns and loved to talk about anything to anyone. He loved his kids and grandkids with his whole heart and is going to be sorely missed by them.

Jerry is survived by his children, Emily Arias, Faith Robey (Brian), Andrew Sullivan, and Benjamin Sullivan; 15 grandchildren; 4 great grandchildren; sister, Carol Schierbaum (Bill); mother-in-law, Willa Jacobs; many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Ray and Florence Mae (Vaughn) Sullivan; wife, Karen (Jacobs) Sullivan; sisters, Rosalie Whitley and Margie Logan; and three brothers, Delbert, Tommy and Scott Sullivan.

Visitation will be held at the church on Friday, August 22nd from 11:00 a.m. until 12 noon.
