Jerry Riegger, age 65, of Metropolis, IL, passed away peacefully and surrounded by family on Tuesday, July 16, 2013.Jerry was born on March 12, 1948 to Jesse and Bonnie Riegger in Lake Charles, LA.Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday, July 20, 2013 at the First Church of God in Metropolis. Pastors Larry Welch and Everett Shaw will officiate. Burial will follow in the Mt. Kenton Cemetery in Paducah, KY. Jerry is survived by his wife, Susan Bryan; daughter, Siany Grace Riegger; 2 sons, Preston Lee Riegger and Ryan King Riegger; and his lil' grandson, Rylan Bloomquist.He was preceded in death by his parents and his son, Chad Jones. Jerry was a world renowned tattoo artist, machine builder, seminar lecturer and mentor.Visitation will be held from 11:30 a.m. until the funeral hour on Saturday, July 20 at the First Church of God.
