Jerry Rice, age 79 of Joppa, Illinois passed away at 4:41 pm on Sunday, March 29, 2020 at Massac Memorial Hospital.

Jerry enjoyed trips to Yosemite National Park, the Grand Canyon, Merced California, his grandchildren, and morrell mushrooms.

Jerry is survived by his children, Cheryl Rice, John Rice, and Thomas Rice; grandchildren, Brian Matthew Baker, Vincent Paul Rice, Aubrey Dianne Rice, Breana McMahan, Kelli Yongue, Nickolas Kitchen; several nieces and nephews.

Jerry was preceded in death by his parents, Thomas "Daddy Tom" and Sarah "Saggie" Rice; sons, Bobby Rice and Brian Graves; sisters, Mary Rice and Sue Fletcher; brothers, Thomas W. "Ced" Rice, John Rice, Robert "Bob" Rice.

Celebration of Life services will be held at a later date.
