Mr. Jerry Meyer, age 66, of Metropolis, IL, passed away on Sunday, January 6, 2019 at Baptist Health Paducah.

Funeral services will be held at 1 pm on Friday, January 11, 2019 at the Aikins-Farmer-Loftus-McManus Funeral Home with Joe Meyer officiating. Burial will follow in St. Stephen's Lutheran Church Cemetery.

Jerry was a self-employed mechanic that worked for farmers all over Southern Illinois.

Jerry is survived by his wife, Libby Meyer; four children, Michael Meyer and wife Sabrina of Metropolis, Joe Meyer and wife Allison of Kevil, KY, Adam Meyer and wife Melissa of Paducah, KY, and Angel Meyer of Metropolis; five grandchildren, Abby and Emma Meyer, and Lillian, Gabriel and Hannah Meyer; one sister, Jean Meyer of Metropolis.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Albert Edward and Grace Marie (Steinkamp) Meyer; one brother, Larry Meyer; one sister, Ruth Oliver.

Visitation will be held from 10 am to 1 pm on Friday, January 11th, at the Aikins-Farmer-Loftus-McManus Funeral Home.
