Jerrell D. Phillips, age 65, of Brookport, IL, passed away quietly on Sunday, January 19, 2020 after suffering a stroke on January 2, 2020. Mr. Phillips was born October 1, 1954 in Brookport, IL.

Funeral services will be held at 3 pm on Wednesday, January 22, 2020 at the Loftus-McManus Brookport Funeral Home with Scott Darnell officiating. Burial will follow in Pell Cemetery.

Jerrell, known as "BB" by all his friends was well loved and cared for. He loved going to the "Building" to watch NASCAR racing and being with his friends. He also loved controversial conversations and was always right (most of the time). He will be missed by all.

Jerrell worked at the Paducah Shirt Factory, Good Luck Glove Co., and DWI Distributors until his retirement.

He is survived by his mother, Elizabeth Phillips and three brothers, Darrell (Beverly) Phillips, Bruce (Yvette) Phillips, and Brandon (Gwen) Phillips. Also surviving are several nieces and nephews including Jennifer (Darren) Bremer, Justin (Chelsea) Phillips, Brady Phillips, and Brennan Phillips; great nephew and nieces, Lane and Ellie Bremer and Harper and Hattie Phillips; step-nieces, Courtney Cantrell, and Drew, Piper and Riley Mullinax; and two aunts, Shirley Vaughn and Barbara (George) Bates.

He was preceded in death by his father, Kenneth Phillips.

Visitation will be held from 1 pm until the funeral service at 3 pm on Wednesday, January 22nd at the funeral home.
