Mr. Jeffory Beggs, 62, of Metropolis, IL, passed away Monday, June 18, 2018 at his residence.

Funeral services will be held at 7pm Thursday, June 21, 2018 at the Loftus-McManus Brookport Chapel with his son, Pastor Jeremy Beggs officiating.  Private burial will be held at a later date.

Mr. Beggs was an avid fisherman and enjoyed the outdoors.

Jeffory is survived by two sons, Jeremy Beggs and wife Cecilia of Kevil, KY and Shaun Beggs and wife Ashley of Brookport; four grandchildren, Caleigh Beggs, Gabriel Beggs, Landon Beggs and Christian Lawson; six siblings, Chris Allen Beggs, Michael Leon Beggs and wife Tammy, Connie Mantz Greer and husband Carl, Curtis Lee Beggs, Era Diane Ireland and husband Frank, Dwight David Beggs and wife Rachel; several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Ernest Leon and Lois (Mantz) Beggs.

Visitation will be held at the Loftus-McManus Brookport Chapel on Thursday, June 21st from 5-7pm.
