Mr. Jeffrey Harris, age 55, of Metropolis, IL, passed away Monday, January 21, 2019 at Massac Memorial Hospital.

Graveside services will be held at 1 pm on Thursday, January 24, 2019 in Hastings Cemetery in Pope County, IL, with Encil Edmonds and Mike Hunt officiating. There will be no visitation. Friends and family are asked to meet at the cemetery.

Jeffery is survived by his mother, Dorothy Sexton; siblings, Duncan Sexton, Randy Harris and wife Teresa, Carrie Reese, Monica Gould, Angelia Alexander and husband Eric, and Sheila Barger and husband Cord; children, James Pollard, Jennifer Bagby, and David Turner; grandchildren, Haden Pollard, Gabriel Pollard, Logan Pollard, Blake Pollard, Dalton Pollard, Dakota Bagby, and Arianna Pollard; several aunts and uncles.

He was preceded in death by his father and stepmother, Harlen and Ruevena Harris; wife of 14 years, Mable L. Harris; brothers, Arthur Shelby and Keith Harris; grandparents, Landis and Freda Wiley and Truman and Tressie Harris.

Arrangements are entrusted to Aikins-Farmer-Loftus-McManus Funeral Home in Metropolis.
