Ms. Jan (Wetherington) Harned, 58, of Metropolis, IL, passed away at 9:01 pm on Tuesday, December 18, 2018 at Baptist Health Paducah.

Funeral services will be held at 2 pm on Sunday, December 23, 2018 at the Aikins-Farmer-Loftus-McManus Funeral Home in Metropolis with Bobby Parker to officiate. Burial will follow in Antioch Baptist Church Cemetery.

Jan retired from the Shawnee Community College Metro Center as a secretary and was of the Christian Faith. She was a beloved friend to the many lives she touched throughout her life.

Jan is survived by the James, Wetherington, and Parker families and many friends.

She was preceded in death by her father, James Riley Wetherington; mother and stepfather, Joy and Robert Howard McCluskey; brother, Jeffrey James Wetherington.

Visitation will be held from 12 noon to 2pm on Sunday, December 23rd, at the Aikins-Farmer-Loftus-McManus Funeral Home in Metropolis.
