Jacob "Jake" Aldrich Kostal, age 45 of Metropolis, Illinois passed away at 7:00 pm on Monday, January 5, 2026 at his residence.

There will not be any services.

Jake is survived by his mother, Suellen(Schreiner) Kostal; daughter, Kaitlyn Kostal; son, Justice Kostal (Jillian); sister, Melanie Hogan (Jenna); brother, Chrishon Davis; very special niece, Emily Hogan (Savannah).

Jake was preceded in death by his father, Aldrich Lauren Kostal, Jr.
