Jackson Tyler Hendrix Strong, age 39 of Metropolis, Illinois passed away on Thursday, April 17, 2025 at his residence.

Visitation will be held on Monday, April 21, 2025 from 11 am to 1 pm at the Aikins-Farmer-Loftus-McManus Funeral home followed by a scripture reading led by Donald Strong.

Jackson is survived by his parents, Jack and Sheila (Hooks)Strong; sisters, Jordan Strong and Sydney Baker and husband Travis; four nieces and one nephew; 1 very special uncle, Billy Hooks; several aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Jackson was preceded in death by his grandparents, Kenneth and Ida (Hendrix) Strong and Glenn and Mattie (Bornes) Hooks.
