Jackie Laird, age 48 of Metropolis, Illinois passed away on Tuesday evening December 31, 2019 at Massac Memorial Hospital.

Graveside services will be held at 1 pm on Tuesday, January 7, 2020 at the Metropolis Memorial Gardens with Rev. Frank Forthman Jr. officiating.

Jackie is survived by his sister, Ginger Meeker and husband Michael; niece, Chelsie Meeker; nephew, Seth Meeker; aunts, Elaine Manley and husband Jim and Brenda Cohoon; several cousins.

Jackie was preceded in death by his parents, John "Jack" and Anntoinette "Ann" (Borem) Laird; grandparents, Donald Lee and Velta Joan (English) Laird and Andrew and Ruth (Adams) Borem; uncles, Donald Borem and Larry Cohoon.

There will not be any visitation. Family and friends are asked to meet at the cemetery for the service.
