Jackie D. Hodge, age 83 of Metropolis, Illinois formerly of Brookport, Illinois passed away at 4:40 pm on Friday, February 28, 2020 at the Ray and Kay Eckstein Hospice Care Center.

Celebration of Life services will be held at 7:30 pm on Monday, March 2, 2020 at Loftus-McManus Brookport Funeral Home.

Jackie was of the Baptist faith and retired from Ingram Barge Line where he worked as a Captain.

Jackie is survived by his wife of 46 years, Debbie Hodge; daughter, Heather McManus and husband Patrick; son, Dale Wayne Workman and wife Leah; several grandchildren and great grandchildren; brother, Larry Hodge; many nieces and nephews.

Jackie was preceded in death by his parents, George Wallace and Grace Bell (Yackle) Hodge; daughter; Teresa Hodge; sisters, Peggy Hodge, Jeanetta Proctor, Linda Johnson; brothers, Paul Hodge, LeRoy Hodge, Robert "Bob" Hodge, Richard Hodge, Billy Hodge

Visitation will be held on Monday evening March 2, 2020 from 6 pm to 7:30 pm at Loftus-McManus Brookport Funeral Home.
