Ida Ruth Gaines, 61, of Brookport, IL, passed away on Monday, July 7, 2014 at Baptist Health of Paducah.Graveside services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, July 12, 2014 in the Anderson Cemetery in Boaz, IL, with Rev. Charles Tate officiating.Ida is survived by her son, Charles Robert Gaines of Brookport; 1 sister, Rebecca Wilson and husband Tom of Ava, IL; 1 brother, William R. Staton and wife Myra of Olmstead, IL; 2 grandchildren, Clint Gaines and Cole Gaines of Paducah, KY; several nieces and nephews; and special friend, Marilyn Loudermilk of Brookport.She was preceded in death by her parents, William H. and Dorothy Mae (Evans) Staton; 1 brother, Donald Reed Staton.There will be no visitation.
