Mr. Henk Ahrens, age 69 of Metropolis, IL passed away at 9:43 am on Sunday, June 22, 2014 at the Massac Memorial Hospital.There will not be any services at this time.Henk was the Manager of Summers Riverview Mansion Bed & Breakfast, and a member of the Massac County Historical Society.Henk is survived by his wife, Colleen (Boyle) Ahrens; 4 daughters, several grandchildren, great grandchildren, & great great grandchildren; sister, Marianne Ahrens and brother, Job Ahrens both of the Netherlands.Henk was preceded in death by his parents.Miller Funeral Home in Metropolis is in charge of arrangements.
