Helen Johnston age 91 of Metropolis, IL passed away Saturday July 26, 2014 at her daughter's home.Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, July 30, 2014 at the Aikins-Farmer Funeral Home with Delbert Sullivan and John Haverkamp officiating. Burial will follow in the Metropolis Memorial Gardens.Helen is survived by her daughter, Debbie Rehlmeyer and husband Fred of Metropolis; 2 grandchildren, Kim Lang and husband Junior and Brad Rehlmeyer and wife Shannon both of Metropolis; 3 great-grandchildren, Logan Lang, Stefan Rehlmeyer and Bryn Rehlmeyer; and several nieces and nephews.She was preceded in death by her parents John and Emma (Logeman) Haverkamp; husband, Leslie Johnston; and 3 brothers, Roy, Cecil "Dutch", and Howard Haverkamp.Visitation will be held from 12 noon until the funeral hour at the Aikins-Farmer Funeral Home.Online Condolences may be left at www.aikinsfarmer-millerfh.com.
