Mrs. Helen Louise Houseright, age 88 of Ypsilanti, MI formerly of Metropolis, IL passed away Saturday morning January 4, 2014 at Gilbert Residence in Ypsilanti, MI.Graveside services will be held at 11 am on Saturday, January 18, 2013 at the Metropolis Memorial Gardens. Rev. Louis W. Brinker will officiate.Louise was a member of the First Baptist Church in Metropolis.Louise is survived by 2 daughters, Trisha Painter of Ypsilanti, MI and Janet Reynolds and husband Kevin of Cobden, IL; 1 son, Lonnie Houseright and wife Sheila of Eldorado, IL; 7 grandchildren, Carrie Richardson and husband David of Ypsilanti, MI, Melanie Yost of Ypsilanti, MI, Kevin Reynolds II and wife Whitney of Cobden, IL, Leah Reynolds of Carbondale, IL, Heather Houseright, Jason Houseright both of Evansville, IN, and Nick Houseright of Eldorado, IL; 7 great grandchildren; brother, Jack Tanner of Metropolis, IL; sister, Betty Moss of Los Alamitos, CA; several nieces and nephews.Louise was preceded in death by her parents, Charles Herman Tanner and Gladys (Jackson) Heil; step father, Art Heil; husband of 42 years, Matthew Edward Houseright;There will not be any visitation.
