Hedy Kennedy age 78 of Brookport, IL passed away Sunday, June 16, 2013 at the Lourdes Hospital in Paducah, KY.Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. on Thursday, June 20, 2013, at the Aikins-Farmer Brookport Chapel. Rev. Justin Reynolds will officiate. Burial will follow in the Pell Cemetery.Hedy was a member of 7 Mile Baptist Church and a past member of the Eastern Star.Hedy is survived by her daughter, Evelyn F. (Mickey) Crowe of Unionville, IL; grandchildren Jana and Cabron Crowe of Unionville, IL; son-in-law Terry Kindred of Paducah, KY; grandson, Cory Kindred of Paducah, KY.She is preceded in death by her parents Zed and Helen (Rixie) Swenney; her husband, Roy W. Kennedy Jr.; daughter, Rhonda (Phillips) Kindred; and two sisters, Millie Cox and Hattie Vowell.
