Heather Marie May walked into Heaven holding Jesus's hand on October 24, 2022. Wheelchair thrown in the river. Walking in the flowers.
She was born in Lombard, Illinois on August 26, 1977 and accepted Jesus as her Lord and Savior on January 20, 2001.
Heather was a member of Joppa Missionary Baptist Church for twenty-one years. She enjoyed singing on praise nights and being with her church family. Heather loved to make drawings to give to all her special people. Watching Dr. Pol was her favorite activity.
Heather is survived by her parents Irvin (Rex) and Patricia Fry. Papa Rex being her 'Lonesome Dove' partner and her cooking comrade, Mom; her loving sister and best friend, Michele and brother-in-law, Chad Carlson; her special niece, Caitlin 'Niecey' (Kyle) Carlson Carr and nephews, Christopher 'Scuttlebutt' Carlson and Nicholas 'Nickypoo' Carlson; her brother, Brandon May; her stepsisters, Marilyn Fain, Glenda Fry, and Mary Petzoldt; her stepbrothers, Walter 'Butch' (Shirley) Fry, Mark Fry, and James (Kathy) Fry; several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews; her best bud, Jack 'Jackaroo' Elliott; and her special friends, Shyrl Ferguson , Mary Jane Story, and Betty Meyer.
She is preceded in death by her grandparents, Leon and Dorothy Danduran; her father, Lloyd May; aunts and uncles, Carol and Gary Reisinger and Nancy and Bill Goss; one cousin, Kathy Frenandez; one stepsister, Brenda Stegal; and a sister-in-law, Mariann Fry.
A Celebration of Life will be held at Joppa Missionary Baptist Church on Saturday, October 29, 2022 at 1:00 p.m. officiated by Brother David Wright.
