Mr. Harlen Dewayne Parrish, age 49, of Golconda, IL, passed away on February 19, 2014 at his residence.Graveside services will be held at 1 p.m. on Saturday, February 22, 2014 in the I.O.O.F. cemetery in Metropolis. Rev. Jerry Parr will officiate. Harlen is survived by his mother, Gracie A. Parrish; sister, Dottie Jones and husband Gary; half-brother, William Earl Parrish; niece, Christina Rushing; nephew, Bobby Jones, and great nephew Logan Little.He is preceded in death by his father, Edward Anderson Parrish.There will be no visitation. Friends are asked to meet at the cemetery.Aikins-Farmer Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.Online condolences may be left at www.aikinsfarmer-millerfh.com.
