Glenda G. Thomas, age 54 of Metropolis, Illinois passed away at 3:41 pm on Friday, May 1, 2015 at her residence.Funeral services will be held at 1 pm on Tuesday, May 5, 2015 at the Victory Full Gospel Church. Bro. Aaron Crainshaw, Bro. Penny Emery, and Bro. Jack Rushing will officiate.Glenda was a member of Victory Full Gospel Church.Glenda is survived by her husband, Darrell Thomas; 3 sons, Michael Thomas and wife Belinda, Bryan Thomas, and Danny Thomas; 15 grandchildren; mother, Mary Herron all of Metropolis, IL; sister, Mary Elaine Thompson of Brookport, IL; brother, Earl Herron of Golconda, IL; several nieces and nephews.Glenda was preceded in death by her father, James Leroy Herron and a nephew, Lukus Herron.Visitation will be held on Tuesday, May 5, 2015 from 11 am to 1 pm at the Victory Full Gospel Church.Memorials may be made to Victory Full Gospel Church, 2795 Old Marion Road, Metropolis, Illinois 62960.Aikins-Farmer Funeral Home in Metropolis is in charge of arrangements.
