Obituary
Glenda Rae Smith age 65 of Metropolis, IL passed away Dec. 28, 2018 at 6:25 am at the home of her brother, surrounded by her family and loved ones.
She was born May 19, 1953 to Henry Clay and Dellar Mae (Burns) Smith.
Memorial services will be Monday Dec. 31, 2018 at 2 p.m. at the Lions Club, 4903 Old Mayfield Road Paducah, KY 42003.
She is survived by her children, Cynthea Vanvalkenburg, Rose Marie Smith, Henry Smith, Lisa Smith and Roberta (Bobby) Mallory, 7 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren, one brother, William "Bill" Smith.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her 6 brothers and sisters.
There will be no visitation. Arrangements are entrusted to the Aikins-Farmer Loftus-McManus F.H. Online condolences may be left at www.aikinsfarmer-millerfh.com.
Memorials may be given in Glenda's name to the American Cancer Society, Metro East Region 5 Schiber Court Maryville, IL 62062.
